Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using ActantOS. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Effective date: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ActantOS platform, APIs, documentation, or any associated services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services. ActantOS reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Services

ActantOS provides enterprise infrastructure for securing, auditing, and governing autonomous AI agents. Our Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Policy engine for defining and enforcing agent behavior rules
  • Approval workflow infrastructure for human-in-the-loop oversight
  • Cryptographically secured audit vault for immutable action logging
  • Agent identity management and RBAC enforcement
  • LLM proxy and tool call inspection infrastructure

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time with reasonable notice to active customers.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify ActantOS immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. ActantOS will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Services to violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or its related systems
  • Use the Services to process data in violation of applicable privacy laws
  • Resell or redistribute the Services without explicit written permission from ActantOS
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software component of the Services
  • Use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Services

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

For enterprise deployments, data processing terms are governed by your enterprise agreement or the Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) available upon request. ActantOS implements SOC 2-aligned controls (certification in progress) and supports GDPR and CCPA compliance for enterprise customers. See /security for our current posture.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, documentation, graphics, user interfaces, and the compilation thereof, are the exclusive property of ActantOS and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use ActantOS trademarks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand features.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or improvements regarding the Services, you grant ActantOS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and incorporate such feedback into the Services without any obligation to you.

7. Payment and Billing

Certain Services require payment of fees. All fees are quoted in US dollars and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in your enterprise agreement. ActantOS reserves the right to change its pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing customers.

If you fail to pay fees when due, ActantOS may suspend or terminate your access to the Services. Enterprise customers should refer to their individual agreements for payment terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ACTANTOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ACTANTOS’ TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ACTANTOS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ACTANTOS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Termination

ActantOS may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@actantos.com. Enterprise customers should follow the termination procedures in their enterprise agreement.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
